Wooden Ladder-Back Dining Chair with Upholstered Seat (Fixer-Upper)

This wooden chair boasts sturdy bones, classic ladder-back styling, and... a seat cushion that’s currently having a dramatic mid-life crisis. Sure, the fabric has seen better days (and survived a tear or two), but beneath that worn canvas lies the ultimate weekend DIY opportunity. Throw on a fresh swatch of fabric, give the solid wood frame a quick sand and stain, and boom—you’ve got a stylish, one-of-a-kind dining or desk chair for a fraction of store prices!
