Vintage Brown Ceramic Porcelain Lag Screw Wire Holders-Lot of 4

This is a set of four vintage, heavy-duty industrial brown glazed ceramic (porcelain) wire holders, often referred to by collectors as "house brackets" or "lag screw insulators." Two distinct styles are visible in your batch:

• Ribbed/Serrated Style (Top Right): Clearly stamped with "PAT. PEND. S-410". These unique wire holders feature a patented method for securing the integrated metal lag screw into the ceramic body.

• Smooth, Bulbous Style (Left/Bottom): Standard vintage porcelain house knobs featuring a large central hole to pass heavy electrical, telephone, or telegraph cables through.

These were originally screwed into the exterior wooden trim of homes, barns, or utility poles to safely anchor and insulate live overhead electrical service wires.
