Steel digging bar

This is a heavy-duty steel digging bar (often called a spud bar, tamp/tamper bar, or pinch-point crowbar). It features a long, solid steel shaft with a mushroomed/flanged top cap (used for tamping dirt or gravel around posts) and a chisel or wedge tip at the bottom. It is primarily used for breaking up hard soil, clay, rocks, and concrete, as well as digging post holes and prying heavy objects.
