Vintage 1990s Specialized "Prolong" Evolution Bicycle Saddle (Made in Italy)

This is a classic, early-1990s vintage Specialized Prolong Evolution bicycle saddle, originally manufactured in Italy. It features a molded black synthetic or leather cover with the classic white block "SPECIALIZED" text on the rear, and the signature orange/red Specialized "S" logo on the side flank. The underside is built on standard round steel/chromoly mounting rails attached to a plastic base structure. It is a highly recognizable piece of vintage mountain bike history.
