Modern Milk Glass Drum Flush-Mount Ceiling Light Fixture

This is a classic, utilitarian-style, mid-century modern (circa 1950s–1970s) flush-mount ceiling light fixture.

• Shade: The shade is a white, opaque milk glass "drum" or "cake-pan" style globe designed to evenly diffuse light.

• Base/Fitter: It features a polished chrome-plated metal base (or fitter) with a thumb screw on the side to secure the glass shade in place

• Back: the reverse reveals a standard galvanized steel mounting plate with keyhole slots for ceiling installation and two vintage electrical wire leads. It appears to be a dual-bulb socket fixture on the inside.
