"The KSU Wildcat Throne: For the Fan Who Marches to Their Own Drummer."

Are you a KSU fan? Do you like polka dots? Do you believe purple is more of a suggestion than a requirement? Then this is the chair for you! This vintage school chair has been lovingly (and liberally) hand-painted with every KSU slogan in the book.

It’s got "Eat 'em Up" on the bottom for motivation and "1863" on the back so you never forget your history. Whether you need a unique piece for your man cave, a dorm room conversation starter, or just a place to sit while you contemplate why this isn't purple, this chair is ready to cheer. It’s one-of-a-kind—mostly because the artist lost their paintbrush right after finishing this one.

  • Base Item: Mid-century tubular steel and molded plywood school chair.

  • Custom Theme: Kansas State University Wildcats.

  • Design Elements: * Hand-painted details: Features "Cats" on the top rail, "1863" (KSU's founding year) on the middle rail, and "Eat 'em Up" on the leg stretchers.

    • Seat Art: A splatter-paint/polka-dot design with "KSU Wildcats" front and center.

    • Colors: A rogue interpretation of KSU colors (pinkish-red, grey, and black). Note: While the school's official color is Royal Purple, this artist clearly had a different vision—or was working with what was in the garage.

  • Construction: Riveted plywood seat and backrest on a grey-painted steel frame.
