Hubbell Superbay I High-Bay HID Ballast Housing (Model BL-A400H8-WH)

This is a vintage Hubbell Lighting, Inc. Superbay I high-bay industrial ballast housing section. It features a heavy-duty, white-painted cast aluminum enclosure designed to handle high-wattage High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps.

• Socket: Features a large porcelain mogul-base socket.

• Wiring/Specs: Multi-tap ballast configured for 120/208/240/277V input, rated for a 400W lamp (typically Metal Halide or High-Pressure Sodium). It includes a dedicated green ground wire and multiple voltage lead wires (some capped/taped).

• Condition: Used, vintage condition with minor surface scuffs, dust, and aging. Includes the original paper installation instruction sheet detailing "Quick-On" and "Slick-On" mounting methods.
