Hand-Painted Nippon Floral Plate with Green Crown Mark
$6.00
Looking to serve up some 100-year-old elegance with a side of historical intrigue? This authentic hand-painted Nippon porcelain beauty brings all the antique charm of the turn of the century right to your china cabinet! While it currently features a tiny "sticky situation" in the center from a past price tag adventure, a gentle cleaning will have it ready to flaunt those gorgeous blush roses and periwinkle trim. Don't let this blooming bargain slip away!
An authentic antique porcelain plate from the Nippon era (circa 1891–1921), featuring delicate hand-painted clusters of pink roses and green foliage. The rim is highlighted by a soft lavender-gray border finished with a thin gold gilt trim line. The underside features a classic historical export backstamp consisting of an arched, red-orange "HAND PAINTED" text above a green five-pointed crown and the word "NIPPON". The face of the plate shows a prominent rectangular residue mark from old tape or a sticker in the center.
