This is a vintage, new-old-stock (NOS) Amerock cabinet roller catch hardware kit, model number A-9823-2G. The piece features a dual-roller catch assembly and corresponding strike plate constructed of steel with a shiny "Perma-Brite" zinc plated finish designed to resist corrosion. It remains factory sealed inside its original mid-century light blue and white blister card packaging from Rockford, Illinois. The back of the cardboard card features technical installation diagrams indicating it "Fits All Applications," alongside patent pending markings. The package shows mild shelf wear, minor corner softening, and edge aging on the cardboard back, but remains completely sealed and intact.
